Is this REALLY considered reckless?

f course it will concern your family, because families make it their business to concern themselves, they are the only people you can really trust to be up front and honest because they don;t care about hurting your feelings. They are trying to put you in a box and people do this when others step outside the 'norm' you are not reckless but you are implusive so own it. It is who you are. I once came home and announced I was going off backpacking around South America for four months. I had it booked before I even told my family, but they are cool, but they did make a point of saying, 'well that's just so you, jumping into something like a loon'...Different strokes for different folks. Stop worrying about what they think. You are who you are and people make such a big deal because they wish they could step outside their boxes as easily as you do.
