What do they test in prental bloodwork?

i had a prenatal bloodwork done, it wasn't an HCG test( I asked the technician).. and when I went back to he doctor to get my results, he said everything came out negative,, so everything was fine.... BUT WHAT DO THEY CHECK IN A PRENATAL BLOODWORK??? (What is negative??) thanks =)
