Can I really be charged with ault with a bodily fluid for this?

My dog peed in someones cup at a picnic and someone called the cops claiming I coaxed my dog to do it. The cup was on the ground next to a table and apparently someone was drinking from it... I really didn't even know my dog had gone to the bathroom.
