McCanns: focus of investigation returns back to the MAIN SUSPECTS Kate & Gerry McCann ?

The McCann's are responsible for the serial neglect of their daughter. If she is found dead the parents are directly or indirectly accountable. If the PJ are back to the parents this does not hold well for Madeleine's chances of being alive.
